Steve Marsh

Steve Marsh
Managing Partner

Steve Marsh is a Managing Partner and co-founder of the Medicus Firm. He is responsible for the Business Development efforts of The Medicus Firm, and is also actively involved with the continued development of its Academic Division. Mr. Marsh began his career in physician recruitment in 1992, and has represented and completed hundreds of physician and physician executive searches throughout the United States for a wide variety of clients. Steve lives in Dallas with his wife, Lynn, and four children.

Skott Harrington

Skott Harrington
Regional Vice President

Skott Harrington is the Regional Vice President for the Great Lakes region and offices out of our Dallas, Texas location. Skott and his team are responsible for the management and development of the Great Lakes region of the United States. With over a decade of experience in the physician recruiting industry, Mr. Harrington served as Vice President of Retained Services for a boutique national retained physician search firm. He is also the recipient of numerous awards and accolades for production and leadership. A former physician recruiter and recipient of three “Recruiter of the Year” awards, Skott transitioned into the Business Development team to further develop his relationships within his region. As an early-retired veteran, Skott now devotes his free time to doing volunteer work and spending time with his family and friends.

Jeff Katon

Jeff Katon
Senior Vice President

Jeff Katon is a Senior Vice President of Business Development based in Dallas. He has been in the industry since 1992, and founded Absolute Recruiting Solutions in Irving, Texas. Before establishing ARS, Inc., Mr. Katon was Director of Physician Recruitment for the Baylor Healthcare System in Dallas, Texas, where he was responsible for executing and overseeing all physician recruitment efforts for the University Medical Center and 7 suburban hospitals. Later, he served as the Director of Physician Recruitment with Concentra Healthcare, Inc. There he and his team of recruiting consultants were responsible for all recruitment for Concentra’s 230+ clinics, across 33 states. Mr. Katon also worked for MHA Group at the start for his career. Based on his numerous contributions since joining the organization in 2004, Mr. Katon earned the “MVP” award for Medicus Partners in 2005 and 2006. Jeff went to the University of North Texas with a football scholarship and went on to earn his B.B.A. with concentration in management. He lives in Flower Mound with his wife, Rina and their two children.

 

Jeff Molnar

Jeff Molnar
Senior Vice President

Jeff Molnar is a Senior Vice President of Business Development based in Dallas. He is responsible for leading the business development efforts for two Medicus Firm regions — our Ohio Valley Region and our Carolinas Region. Jeff began his career in the staffing industry over 25 years ago, and has worked closely with clients to effectively evaluate, coordinate and launch multiple hundreds of successful search campaigns. Over the years he has won numerous awards for production and leadership, including “Producer of the Year” and “Company MVP.” He lives in Dallas with his wife, Suzy, and has two married children.

Jason Phillips

Jason Phillips
Director of Business Development

Jason Phillips is based in Dallas and manages new business efforts in Arkansas, Louisiana and East Texas. Before he joined The Medicus Firm, he traveled around the country managing aspects of PGA Tour events. He also worked in accounting and finance for an advertising agency. Mr. Phillips’ strong suit is building lasting relationships with his clients. A finance graduate from Baylor University, Jason is originally from Arkansas. He spends his free time hunting, fishing, and playing golf and basketball. He also enjoys attending sporting events and cheering on the Dallas pro teams, as well as the Baylor Bears and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Jenni Trebon

Jenni Trebon
Regional Vice President

Jenni Trebon is the Regional Vice President of Business Development for the Southeast Region. With over a decade of experience in the recruiting and health care industries, she has previously worked for the MHA Group, consistently ranking in the top 10 for performance. Jenni has a master’s in social work and was previously licensed to practice clinical social work. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband Roman and their two children.

Lisa Wagner

Lisa Wagner
Regional Vice President

Lisa Wagner works in our Dallas office and is the Regional Vice President of our New England and Mid-Atlantic clients. Ms. Wagner entered the health care recruiting and consulting field in 2004 and has been awarded “Producer of the Year” for her performance at The Medicus Firm in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. Lisa is originally from Connecticut and earned her bachelor’s at George Washington University. After graduating she worked in business consulting for almost 20 years, consistently achieving highest producer status. In her spare time, Lisa likes spending time with her friends and family and competing in cycling, running, golf, volleyball and being a Foodie.
Joe Nanez

Joe Nanez
Senior Business Development Consultant

Joe Nanez is a Senior Business Development Consultant based in our Dallas office and serving in the Ohio Valley Region. He manages our new business efforts in the states of Indiana and Kentucky. Joe began his career in the staffing industry in 2007 and prides himself on being a professional, innovative problem solver and a resourceful team player. His hard work and dedication has helped him achieve awards including “The Achievement of Excellence” and “The Presidents Cup.” He received his Bachelor’s Degree of Science at the University of North Texas and enjoys spending time with his loving wife, Lia, and his dog, Lola.
Liam Woodard

Liam Woodard
Director of Business Development

Liam Woodard is Director of Business Development for The Medicus Firm’s Academic & Physician Executive Division. Liam is responsible for assessing and developing relationships with Universities and Academic Hospitals. Prior to joining The Medicus Firm, Liam began his career in physician recruitment with Arthur | Marshall Inc. where he managed the central region which included Missouri, Iowa, Minnesota and Wisconsin. While at AMI, Liam set many records and was awarded marketer of the month 3 times in his first year. Over the years, Liam has served as a noted industry authority and resource to his clients and prides himself on building lasting relationships. Mr. Woodard is a graduate of Western Oregon University where he was an Athletic and Academic All American while pitching and playing baseball for the Wolves. Following his playing career, Liam coached baseball as the head assistant and recruiting coordinator at WOU for a total of 5 years. Liam currently resides in Dallas, TX with his wife Caroline.
David Watros

David Watros
Senior Business Development Consultant

David Watros works in the Dallas office as a Senior Business Development Consultant. He leads our business development efforts in our New England Region, including the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut and Rhode Island. Originally from New York, David attended college at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, Rhode Island.
David moved to the Dallas area over 20 years ago and joined TMF after a successful career in sales and vendor management in the finance industry. In their spare time David and his wife Alison enjoy cooking and spending time with their daughter Hayden.
Greg Scott

Greg Klimaszewski (Scott)
Senior Business Development Consultant

Greg Klimaszewski (Scott) is a Senior Business Development Consultant for our Carolinas Region and manages our new business efforts in the states of North and South Carolina and Virginia. Greg is an accomplished healthcare staffing professional, having held the same position previously with another leading nationwide staffing firm. Prior to earning degrees from The University of Texas at Austin in Economics and Finance, Greg was a Scout Sniper in the United States Marine Corps with 3rd Marines.

In addition to his lifelong passion of exercise, Greg spends as much time as he can with his family traveling to the Texas Hill Country, or simply relaxing poolside with them. Greg lives in Dallas with his wife, Susan, and daughter, Charlotte.

Paul Golden

Paul Golden is a Business Development Consultant based in our Dallas office and serving the Northwest region. He manages new business efforts for the states of Montana, Wyoming, Idaho, Oregon, and Washington. With over 25 years in the healthcare industry, Paul’s experience ranges from healthcare operations, facility management, and 17 years as the Physician Recruiter for a major Healthcare system in Texas. He prides himself on being a versatile professional, building and maintaining relationships gained from his recruiting experience. Paul transitioned into the Business Development team to further develop relationships within his region and to assist clients in achieving their recruiting goals. A business graduate from Baylor University, Paul is originally from Texas and enjoys any outdoor recreation or sport. He lives in Temple with his wife Debbie and they have two grown children.
Tim Hoogland

Tim Hoogland is a Senior Business Development Consultant in our Southeast Region and offices out of our Dallas, Texas location. Tim is responsible for the management and business development efforts for the State of Florida. With over 18 years of client service, business development and healthcare staffing experience, Tim has been consistently recognized for his production and client service excellence. Tim prides himself on building and maintaining lasting professional relationships by assisting his clients in achieving their recruiting goals. Mr. Hoogland is a graduate of Southern Methodist University, Dallas TX and resides in Dallas with his wife Leanne and their three children. An avid outdoorsman in his free time, Tim enjoys hunting, fishing and watching and playing sports with his kids.
Dina Duronio

Director Of Business Development

Dina is a Director of Business Development for our Southwest Region managing our new business efforts in the states of Texas and New Mexico. With over 5 years’ experience in the healthcare staffing industry, she has received numerous monthly, quarterly and annual awards for her business development accomplishments. Dina prides herself on her ability to create strong, lasting relationships with her clients through providing constant communication and value leading to execution. Dina is originally from Buffalo, New York and has now lived in Dallas, Texas for 9 years. In her free time she enjoys playing sports, boxing and spending quality time with her family and close friends.
Jayci Branton

Jayci Branton
Research Specialist

Jayci is the Research Specialist for our Academic Division based in Dallas. She is responsible for business development efforts with universities and schools of medicine nationwide. She takes pride in establishing solid client relationships through consistent communication and reliability. For over 10 years Jayci was an accomplished performer in musical theatre and dance, and she still enjoys the occasional performance for her fellow TMF team and others. Her favorite time spent away from the office is with her husband, Alex, and their two little kitties.
Matt Dancer

Matt Dancer
Senior Business Development Consultant

Matt Dancer is a Senior Business Development Consultant in the Central Region, which includes the states of Illinois, Iowa and Nebraska. Matt is originally from the West Coast but has long called North Texas home. He has been in equipment and franchise sales for over 20 years and has been consistently recognized for his client satisfaction scores and always going the extra mile to make sure his clients receive the best customer service possible. Matt resides north of Dallas and relishes his extra time with his bride Jacqueline, his daughter, son and 2 dogs.

Jacob Simon
Senior Business Development Consultant

Jacob is based in our Dallas office as a Senior Business Development Consultant serving Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. Mr. Simon brings an extensive background in the recruiting industry to the Central Region where he specializes in consulting on healthcare provider needs and recruitment strategies. Prior to beginning his career in the physician recruiting industry, Jacob served for 4 years as the National Recruiting Coordinator for Northwestern State University football program and their recruitment of student-athletes. His experience allows him to work closely with management and internal recruiting staffs to evaluate and provide marketing insight beneficial for strategic planning. Jacob is originally from Kansas and is a graduate of McPherson College where he was a two-time National Scholar-Athlete as a quarterback. He later received his Master’s in Management and Administration at Northwestern State University. In his free time, Jacob enjoys attending sporting events, spending time with family and friends, and competing in athletic events of various kinds.

Desiree Hill
Director of Business Development

Desiree is a Director of Business Development for our Pacific Northwest Region and manages our new business efforts in the states of Alaska, Oregon, Washington, Montana, Idaho and Wyoming. With over 5 years’ experience in physician staffing, she has consistently won awards for business development and providing superior customer service. Desiree is known for her passion, drive, communication skills and steadfast reliability, as well as her wealth of knowledge and extreme success in physician recruitment in the state of Alaska. She prides herself on always letting the client know that she truly cares about their needs and their current situation, and she believes that passion, constant communication and trust is the key to establishing long lasting relationships. Desiree was born and raised in Texas where she pioneered Women’s Pole Vault and held the Texas high school state record for many years. She attended the University of North Texas where she was ranked in the top three pole vaulters for the Sun Belt Conference and broke the college record her Freshman year. She loves to fish and camp with her family and friends as much as she can, and when she is not fishing she enjoys playing and watching sports and traveling.
