Mark Nolen, a Principal with The Medicus Firm, is based in Dallas and primarily works with clients in the Southwest and Midwest.  He has been in healthcare consulting, recruiting and business development since 1995 and he joined the former Medicus Partners in 2003.  He is a two-time winner of The Medicus Firm’s Recruiter of the Year award and most recently won the “Burning Tire” award for filling the most searches the fastest for 2010.

Mr. Nolen's areas of expertise include physician recruitment, contract negotiation, medical compliance, and emergency room contract management. Mr. Nolen's experience includes both domestic and international recruitment. His previous experience has been with Emergency Care Services (ECS) as an Account Manager in Miami, Florida, and EmCare in both Dallas and St. Louis. He began his healthcare recruiting experience with Harris, Kovacs and Alderman in Dallas, Texas.

In international sales, Mark worked in Bath, England in 1991 with the Gap, Ltd and later served as Vice-President - U.S. Operations for a British nurse staffing firm.

Mark is a graduate of Texas Tech University, with a BS in International Trade. He resides in Dallas with his wife Emily and their daughter. Mark enjoys traveling, sailing, SCUBA diving and spending time with family and friends.
