Practice Information

  • Outpatient Clinic and EEG Coverage - 4.5 (clinic + EEG) + 0.5 administrative time
    • 2 days of patient visits, ~2 days of EEG interpretation
      • EEG studies performed on-site, with flexibility to interpret remotely

Call Rotation

  • Each epileptologist takes 1 week of call every 4–6 weeks
  • Responsibilities include EEG interpretation (remote-capable) and inpatient consult follow-up
  • No call obligations during regular outpatient weeks
  • Protected academic time based on candidate’s interests (up to 0.5–1 day per week possible)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MD or DO
  • BC/ BE in Neurology
  • Successful completion of an ACGME-accredited Neurology Residency Program
  • Texas Medical License, or be eligible for licensure in the state of Texas
