Why You'll Love This Role:

  • Hospital-Based, One-on-One Care - Join a rural critical-access, hospital-based clinic that prioritizes individualized treatment and quality outcomes over volume
  • Balanced Caseload & Workflow - Typical schedule features hour-long evaluations and 30-minute follow-ups, with an average of 7-8 patients/day.
  • Work alongside a supportive PT leader and PTAs in a close-knit department with strong community ties (including regular referrals from local student-athletes).
  • Growth & CE Support - Broad case mix (≈90% outpatient / ≈10% inpatient/SNF) plus CE covered for certifications and plenty of opportunity to expand skills
  • 4x10s, Weekdays Only - Choose Mon-Thu or Tue-Fri; no weekends and major holidays off. Not on formal call; occasional inpatient need on a Friday evening may arise.
  • Setting - Hospital clinic with four treatment rooms and a dedicated charting space (Athena + pre-doc).
  • Deliver outpatient-focused PT (with some inpatient/SNF) across ortho, post-surgical, and general rehab; “see anything/everything” common to rural practice.
  • Provide truly one-on-one care; coordinate closely with providers across the hospital and rural health clinic.
  • Document efficiently in Athena; collaborate with tele-speech/tele-OT colleagues when applicable.

Compensation & Benefits:

  • Hourly Range: Up to $61.00, Depending on Years of Experience
  • Sign-On & Relocation: $10,000 sign-on (paid at once; 2-year commitment) + $3,000 relocation. Temporary housing available (up to six months) or $3,000 housing reimbursement.

  • Lifestyle Perks: Free family access to a local recreation center.

Qualifications

  • Education: Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT).
  • Licensure: Active (or eligible) PT license. Colorado State Licensure or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience: New grads and experienced clinicians welcome; strong support for continued training/certs.
  • Fit: Mission-driven, community-minded clinician who enjoys broad rural practice and collaborative care
