Occupational Therapist (Pediatrics + Inpatient/Outpatient Mix)

Position Highlights:

Work-Life Balance:

  • Monday–Friday, 8:00–4:30
  • ~8 patients/day with no productivity requirements
  • 1-hour dedicated lunch/documentation time
  • Only one Saturday per month with a compensatory weekday off

Desirable Practice Setting, Ideal Work Environment:

  • 50–75% Pediatrics with remaining inpatient/outpatient variety
  • Well-established OT/PT/ST department with diverse clinical expertise
  • Rural community with very limited outpatient competition

Ideal Work Environment:

  • Dedicated pediatric therapy space
  • 2 private rooms + 1 semi-private room
  • EPIC EMR with your own computer/workstation
  • Ability to make your treatment area your own

Favorable Call Schedule:

  • Minimal call: 1 Saturday/month + rotating holidays

Qualifications:

  • OT degree required
  • Standard Occupational Therapy certifications
  • Must hold Iowa OT licensure
  • Comfort with pediatrics (50–75% of caseload)
  • Ability to manage a diverse mix of inpatient and outpatient treatment
  • Pediatric experience preferred; all backgrounds considered
  • No visa sponsorship available
