Position Highlights
- Work-Life Balance: Monday–Friday schedule with flexibility; standard hours are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM with the option for 4x10s based on leadership approval
- Favorable Schedule: Monday–Thursday or Tuesday–Friday (7:00 AM – 5:00 PM) with limited evenings (1–2/month) for community or cooking classes and quarterly Saturday or evening education sessions

- Leadership Opportunity: Play a key role in rebuilding and shaping the diabetes education program following a recent retirement, with potential to support departmental growth and future RD hires
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary: Base salary range of $81,000 – $95,000, determined by experience and credentials
- Sign-On / Loan Repayment / Relocation: Up to $30,000 in total incentives—candidate choice of sign-on bonus, student loan repayment (paid over 12 months), or relocation assistance

Qualifications
- Education: Degree in Nursing (RN), Physical Therapy (PT), or Registered Dietitian (RD)
- Certification: Required – Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialist (CDCES)
- Licensure: Active RN, PT, or RD license (dual-licensed RDs welcome)
- Experience: Diabetes education experience preferred; comfortable managing small inpatient populations and scheduled outpatient visits (average daily census of 6–8 patients)
- Skill Set: Diabetes education, patient counseling, care coordination, inpatient and outpatient consultation, and community outreach
