Full-Scope Medical Optometry

This is much more than a traditional routine eye exam position.

The practice provides comprehensive primary and medical eye care, giving the incoming optometrist an opportunity to evaluate and manage a broad range of ocular conditions while developing deeper medical optometry expertise.

The clinical scope includes:

• Comprehensive eye examinations
• Diabetic eye examinations
• Glaucoma evaluations, management, and testing
• Macular degeneration evaluations
• Cataract evaluations
• Dry eye and ocular surface disease
• Emergency eye care
• Red eye evaluations
• Stye and eyelid evaluations
• Contact lens examinations and specialty fitting
• Myopia management
• LASIK/PRK consultations and co-management
• Routine and complex ocular disease management

Depending on the patient's condition, the practice utilizes advanced diagnostic testing including:

• OCT
• Retinal imaging
• Visual field testing
• Meibography
• Advanced ocular surface and dry-eye diagnostics
• Additional modern diagnostic and treatment technology

The practice also offers comprehensive dry-eye evaluations and individualized treatment plans, including advanced treatment options such as IPL.

Strong Medical Optometry Mentorship

Compensation & Financial Opportunity

• Base salary: $150,000–$200,000, based on experience and qualifications
• $175,000–$225,000 potential base range for residency-trained candidates

• Approximately $400,000–$500,000 in additional annual production opportunity
