Work-Life Balance: 4-day workweek (Mon–Thu); Fridays always off. Contracted laborist group covers Friday 7 AM through Monday 7 AM — protecting your time off.
Optimal Patient Volume: Approximately 420–430 deliveries annually (~35/month). Scheduling new patients within 8–10 weeks gestation. Full-scope OBGYN practice: clinic, surgical GYN, and OB deliveries.
Culture & Support: Join an experienced, collaborative team including one CNM/midwife (12–15 deliveries/month) and one incoming GYN-focused NP. CNM/NP takes first call for routine issues — MDs handle ER consults and C-sections only. Work with an experienced mentor welcoming a new partner.
Ideal Work Environment: State-of-the-art facility: 5 ORs (1 hybrid), 2 C-section rooms, 3 LDRs, 3 triage rooms, 7 postpartum rooms, and a Level II NICU (15 beds). Full laparoscopic suite with urologic GYN equipment. MFM available 24/7 by phone + in-person 2x/week.
Call Schedule: Weekday call 1-in-2 with other doctor (CNM/NP takes first call). Weekend call 1-in-5 shared with laborist group (Fri 7AM–Mon 7AM) — compensated at $125/hour (~$83,750/year). Call weekends are flexible and swappable.
