Position Highlights

• Founding Physician Opportunity: Join an internationally recognized facial gender surgery practice as the founding Hair Restoration Surgeon for its Los Angeles expansion. This physician will have the opportunity to launch, shape, and grow a new program while benefiting from the reputation, infrastructure, and resources of an established surgical practice.
• Established Patient Pipeline: Begin with an existing internal referral source rather than building a patient base entirely from scratch. Hair restoration is an important component of care for many of the practice's facial gender surgery patients, creating an established pipeline while offering significant opportunity to expand into the broader Southern California hair restoration market.
• Gender-Affirming Patient Care: Serve transgender, gender-diverse, LGBTQ+, and cisgender patients seeking individualized Hair Restoration Surgery. The successful physician will demonstrate a genuine commitment to providing respectful, compassionate, and affirming care and understand the meaningful role hair restoration can play within a patient's broader gender-affirming journey.
• Entrepreneurial Practice Model: Help build and grow a new program without assuming the administrative burden of starting an independent practice. The physician will have meaningful influence over practice development, community engagement, clinical workflows, and growth strategy.
• Comprehensive Practice Support: Focus on patient care and program development while established leadership provides centralized support for marketing, human resources, finance, administration, and operations.
• Community Engagement: Develop relationships within the Los Angeles community through outreach, education, networking, and engagement with LGBTQ+ organizations and other potential referral partners.

Qualifications

• MD or DO
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in an applicable specialty
• Experience and/or advanced training in Hair Restoration Surgery
• Relevant backgrounds may include Plastic Surgery, Facial Plastic Surgery, Dermatology, or another appropriate surgical specialty
• Ability to independently perform and develop a comprehensive Hair Restoration Surgery practice
• Strong surgical outcomes and clinical judgment
• Entrepreneurial mindset with interest in practice development and growth
• Excellent patient communication and relationship-building skills
• Collaborative, humble, and team-oriented approach to practice
• Demonstrated respect for and commitment to providing compassionate, affirming care to LGBTQ+, transgender, and gender-diverse patients
• Interest in developing long-term roots within an established practice rather than pursuing independent ownership
• California medical license or ability to obtain
