Overview

The University of Maryland Medical Center – Downtown Campus seeks an OB Anesthesiologist to join a nationally recognized obstetric anesthesia division. This is a 100% obstetric anesthesia practice in a SOAP Center of Excellence (8 years running).

Position Highlights

• Level IV Maternal Care Center
• High-acuity cases: Placenta Accreta Spectrum, maternal cardiac, ECMO
• Newly built OBCU: 12 L&D rooms, 3 ORs, Level IV NICU with neonatal ECMO
• Collaborative academic environment with residents, fellows, and MFM partners
• Teaching, research, and hospital committee involvement encouraged

Compensation Highlights:

Qualifications:

• Board certified in anesthesiology
• OB fellowship trained ideal but open to considering non fellowship trained providers that have 10+ years’ experience in a high acuity setting
• Visa sponsorship available
