Pathology Residency Program Director
UC Davis School of Medicine’s Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is seeking a well-qualified Pathology Residency Program Director to join their department at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank.
The incoming provider will serve as Residency Program Director for the department’s integrated Anatomic/Clinical Pathology training program. There are currently 12 funded resident positions with capacity to expand to 16 and 5 fellowships with one more pending.
The ideal candidate:
· Program administration, evaluation, accreditation, and compliance
· Resident recruitment, selection, mentoring, and discipline
· Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience
· Open to MD, DO or combined MD/PhD or DO/PhD
· Board certified in anatomic and/or clinical pathology

UC Davis Health Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is internally ranked and currently has 40 faculty and 400+ academic and clinical staff. The program is known for its award-winning faculty educators and houses 13 residents in combined anatomic and clinical pathology training. Fellowships include cytology, hematopathology, informatics, surgical pathology. Pathology education is integrated across the medical student curriculum and the program has a strong tradition of training clinical laboratory scientists, now in its seventh decade.
