Overview
Our well-established dental practice in a vibrant Midcoast Maine Metro area is seeking a talented and compassionate Orthodontist to join our team. As an Orthodontist, you will provide comprehensive orthodontic treatment to patients of all ages, including corrective treatments for misaligned teeth and jaws. Position Highlights
- Excellent quality of life working 32 hours per week on a schedule of (4) 8-hour days (Mon - Thurs)
- We offer a competitive salary of $250 per hour plus a production bonus

Responsibilities:
- Provide orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning
- Develop and maintain treatment plans that meet each patient's individual needs, including managing treatment progress and communicating with patients and their families.
- Work closely with our tenured support team, including dental assistants and administrative staff, to deliver high-quality orthodontic care.
- Keep accurate and timely patient records using our electronic medical record system.
Qualifications:
- Dental degree from an accredited dental school and eligible/active dental license in Maine
- Completion of a residency program in orthodontics
- Board certification in orthodontics preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strongly committed to patient-centered care
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
