Unique Leadership Opportunity: Oversee the clinical and operational aspects of the HLA laboratory, ensuring compliance with CLIA regulations and advancing the laboratory's excellence in histocompatibility testing.
Desirable Practice Setting: Join a well-established HLA laboratory equipped with state-of-the-art technology and facilities, supported by a collegial team of two experienced MD Associate Directors.
Work-Life Balance: On-site, full-time position with service responsibilities taken in weekly blocks and call coverage every third weekend from home (1:3).

Qualifications
PhD Candidates:
Certified Fellow (F(ACHI)).
Qualify as Laboratory Director, Technical Supervisor, and Clinical Consultant for histocompatibility under CLIA regulations.
MD Candidates:
Board Certification in Clinical Pathology (CP) or Anatomic/Clinical Pathology (AP/CP) by the American Board of Pathology.
Certified Fellow (F(ACHI)) or Associate (A(ACHI)).
Eligibility for medical licensure in Kentucky.
Qualify as Laboratory Director, Technical Supervisor, and Clinical Consultant for histocompatibility under CLIA regulations.
