Executive Academic & Clinical Leadership – Shaping and executing the strategic direction of the academic affairs and student experience within the school of medicine.
Curriculum & Educational Oversight – Provides leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the undergraduate medical education program, while supporting GME and interprofessional education.
Clinical Integration & Partnerships – Aligns clinical operations, faculty, and resources with academic objectives in collaboration with Cape Fear Valley Health and other partners.
Accreditation & Compliance Leadership – Serves as the senior liaison with accrediting bodies (LCME, ACGME) to ensure adherence to standards and successful program accreditation.
Faculty & Talent Development – Leads faculty recruitment, mentoring, retention, and professional development to strengthen teaching, scholarship, and clinical excellence.
Strategic Administration & Resource Management – Oversees budget, resource allocation, and operational management while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and equity.
