Position Highlights:
- Executive Academic & Clinical Leadership - Serves as the Chief Clinical and Educational Operating Officer, shaping and executing the strategic direction of the School of Medicine.
- Curriculum & Educational Oversight - Provides leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the undergraduate medical education program, while supporting GME and interprofessional education.
- Clinical Integration & Partnerships - Aligns clinical operations, faculty, and resources with academic objectives in collaboration with Cape Fear Valley Health and other partners.
- Accreditation & Compliance Leadership - Serves as the senior liaison with accrediting bodies (LCME, ACGME) to ensure adherence to standards and successful program accreditation.
- Faculty & Talent Development - Leads faculty recruitment, mentoring, retention, and professional development to strengthen teaching, scholarship, and clinical excellence.
- Strategic Administration & Resource Management - Oversees budget, resource allocation, and operational management while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and equity.

Qualifications:
- Degree: MD's only
- Specialty: Open to all medical specialties
- Skillset: Curriculum development, research and/or community engagement
- Experience: 10 years experience in academic medicine administration
