Curriculum & Educational Oversight - Provides leadership for the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of the undergraduate medical education program, while supporting GME and interprofessional education.
Clinical Integration & Partnerships - Aligns clinical operations, faculty, and resources with academic objectives in collaboration with Cape Fear Valley Health and other partners.
Accreditation & Compliance Leadership - Serves as the senior liaison with accrediting bodies (LCME, ACGME) to ensure adherence to standards and successful program accreditation.
Faculty & Talent Development - Leads faculty recruitment, mentoring, retention, and professional development to strengthen teaching, scholarship, and clinical excellence.
Strategic Administration & Resource Management - Oversees budget, resource allocation, and operational management while fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, accountability, and equity.
