Job Duties
As a physician in Palliative Care, you will be performing job duties such as working with a patient and their family to identify, control, or alleviate physical and emotional discomfort, providing expert management of patients’ symptoms, holding meetings with family members to ensure coordinated delivery of care, linking patients and their caregivers and family members to available support groups, and providing access to resources so that patients can make well-informed decisions.

Work Environment
Palliative Care may be provided in hospitals, nursing homes, outpatient and other specialized clinics, or at home.
